When you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life, something supernatural immediately took place. You immediately died to the world and were made alive in Christ Jesus. God made you a part of his family. You are not an ordinary being but a divine being because you now have the life of God in you. You were made a citizen of heaven because you have been born from above, and whatever is from above is above all.
You have been ordained to live as a king here on the earth.
The reason why we do not see the Church reign at present is because the Church is more conscious of her presence here on earth and less conscious of her seated position in heaven with Christ Jesus. We are of the kingdom of heaven just as Christ, that is why he said: I have given and delivered to them your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world–– John17:14 AMP.
To be victorious in this life, to be a wonder to your generation, to live the higher life God has called you into, you need to be conscious of your presence in heaven. Glory to God!
The new creation is a man born from above. When we made Jesus the Lord of our lives, we were not born into this same earthly kingdom but into the kingdom from above.
‘Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God’ – John 3:3.
We are citizens of heaven by birth. Though we are currently present on the earth, our citizenship is of above. We are on an assignment here, but we are governed by the kingdom from above. I want you to be conscious of your heavenly dwelling. The constant awareness of your heavenly dwelling will put you on top of life. You will only enjoy heaven on earth when you are conscious of your dwelling in heaven.
Colossians 3:1–– If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
